That this game gives you a weapon immediately helps over most other survival games. While it's not quite ARK, it looks and plays similar (to me, in some aspects), so I had that mindset of making sure I at least was armed before I move on.

Survival games tend to do similar, dropping you into an area with not much to your name. Sometimes games just have to trust that a player ought to know what they are doing, not coddle them to extremes. It just seems to me to be such a rare issue and rather limiting to a new person. Since it is one of the first things done in the game, it COULD make it so that your zapper is required to move, preventing this.

I hadn't had this issue with the game myself (obvious from my lack of sympathy), but I guess I was trying to think of ways to protect against this specifically. I guess I just jumped a bit far in an aggressive stance. But anyway, just started another session and noticed I even didn´t dismantle the spaceship in my first session, I just ran away because I landed in front of a big weird animal watching at me.
